Attacking (ATT): 'Possess to Progress to Score'
ATT1 Playing the ball progressively forward, where everyone is participating
  • Play quickly and intense with minimal touches on the ball as possible
  • Use advantageous offensive position to support forward play through the opponents' lines
  • Always provide options in front of the ball to progress.  More Options = More Solutions!
  • Fast movement into forward positions, support opportunities for fast, quality flow of the ball and creating chances to score.
ATT2 Directly counterattack in offensive transition
  • Attack the opposition right after gaining possession
  • Attack as an organized unit as soon as we gain possession
  • Upon regaining possession, play fast and direct to create scoring chances
ATT3 Positional discipline in attack
  • Players must have tactical positional discipline on offence
  • Allows us to build quality attacks, create chances and score goals
