One thing that I found interesting in this module was the way the Learning Facilitators introduced the Coach Education Core Principles. While they are easy to understand, I’ve sometimes struggled with connecting them to coaching and subsequent learning.

In my experience as a Soccer Administrator (Treasurer) for a Nationally Licensed club in Canada one thing that I recently encountered but never considered before in various planning activities was the Equity component. This stood out to me in particular because sometimes there may be barriers in sports that go unnoticed based on your role and engagement in the sport. As a male player, I never truly appreciated what a female player may feel / experience playing a game in the rain with a white uniform on. |
